Match Report

The first local derby of the season was a evenly fought, close encounter, which edged in Putford’s favour after half an hours play. A close range shot beating the keepers dive and deflecting into the goal off the far post. The last period remained evenly poised until the visitors added a second goal 15 minutes from time. Buckland pushed forward during the latter part of the game but although several chances were created no goals were forthcoming.
