Match Report

Buckland controlled the opening half, with their defence superbly marshalled by Simon Adams, holding firm and limiting the opposition to long range shooting that was usually well off target. A couple of half chances fell to the home strikers but unfortunately no goals were forthcoming. The second half was only in the third minute as Ilfracombe opened the scoring with a firm shot that was deflected into the net off the foot of a defender attempting to block the ball. A second goal drilled into the net 10 minutes later from 12yds effectively ended Buckland's afternoon.
