Match Report

Buckland played well in the opening half and justly took the lead on 30 minutes as Jake Lomax scored from 15yds following a great pass from defender Ed Jonckheere. Merton were restricted to only a couple of half chances during this same period.

The second half was a totally different affair as Buckland's defence seemed to have stayed in the changing rooms as Merton scored six to completely blitz their opponents. Two goals in the opening 10 minutes turned the game in Merton's favour, and as Buckland's heads dropped, their opponents scored virtually at will.

Man of the Match: Andrew Large (midfield)
