Match Report

Merton opened the scoring with a debatable penalty after 10 minutes, but Buckland hit back in style. Simon Leach & two goals for youngster Arran Brooks, his first in over two years gave the visitors a fine half time lead. The football played by Buckland was quick and neat straight from the training ground.

Merton hit back immediately after the break, but a penalty 15 minutes later was converted by Steve Tucker to restore Bucklands two goal advantage. The home side added a third 15 minutes from time but the visitors more than held their own to gain a welcome victory.
