Lack lustre defending cost Buckland dear during the early stages as Anchor took a three goal lead inside the opening 25 minutes. Jake Lomax pounced on a lose ball following a corner 5 minutes before the break to give Buckland a glimmer of hope.

The lights were certainly turned on at the start of the second period as goals from Brynn Waldon and Ed Jonckheere inside 3 minutes brought the visitors level. The momentum could not be maintained and Anchor hit a fourth on the counter attack 5 minutes later. A further goal midway into the half and superb free kick late in the game sealed an Anchor victory.
