Match Report

Equalisers took the lead after 20 minutes with a goal of the season contender. A superb strike from 25yds rifled into the far top corner of the net. They should have increased their lead 5 minutes later after the award of a penalty. The resulting spot kick being hit over the crossbar. Buckland pressed forward and were rewarded 10 minutes before the break as midfielder Kevan Parker volleyed a cracking shot from 10yds to score his first goal for Buckland in 4 years of trying.

The second half was evenly contested until 15 minutes from time when the visitors edged ahead with a powerful header from close range. Buckland contested the decision claiming the pass leading to the cross was offside, but to no avail. Arran Brooks and Simon Leach both went close with shots as the half progressed.

With seconds remaining Buckland almost salvaged a point, Simon Adams muscling his way past the defence, but his powerful shot flew inches over the bar.
