Match Report

Buckland with several players unavailable had to rely apon a couple of untried players in order to put a team on the pitch. The game started well with the home side dominating for the initial ten minutes. Against the run of play Chittle were awarded a penalty which had to be taken twice due to an infringement, but eventually took an undeserved lead. New boy Brynn Waldon impressed with some neat football and after Dan Brownhill had struck the crossbar Brynn smashed the rebound into the net to level after 30 minutes.

The second half was evenly contested, but vetern keeper John Adams once again showed his worth by denying the visitors with a good save after 20 minutes. Buckland won the match with a fine solo goal from youngster Brynn Waldon who ran 20 yds before shooting low into the corner with 15 minutes remaining.
