Match Report

Buckland opened the scoring after 10 minutes as Danny Woolf stuck a firm shot from 12yds. Defender Steve Tucker somehow found himself in the opposition goalmouth for a corner kick and duly headed the ball into the net from close range to record a very rare goal on fifteen minutes. Normally he never ventures past the half way line, let alone reach the opposition area. Simon Adams added a third on 20 minutes courtesy of a handling error by the keeper. The fourth goal was bizarre, as a clearance from within his own half by Vinny Bott bounced on the edge of the North Molton penalty area, brushed the leg of a defender and subsequently slipped under the foot of the keeper and nestled in the back of the net. The goalkeeper was also at fault for number five just before half time as another speculative drive from Vinny Bott found the gap between the keeper’s legs.

The second period was a completely quieter affair with only a solitary goal midway through the half from Simon Leach as an addition to Buckland's tally.

Man of the Match: Steve Tucker (defender) & Vinny Bott (midfield)
