Match Report

Buckland took the lead after 20 minutes as a fine run and pass from Vinny Bott found Steve Bennett in space, his shot from 10yds gave the keeper no chance. Buckland dominated proceedings with neat football until 15 minutes from the break when the referee awarded a penalty for an alleged push, this enabled the home side to level the scores from the spot.

Buckland added a second goal 20 minutes into the second half as captain Vinny Bott just reached a pass before the keeper, to prod home from close range. Ten minutes later a through ball was collected by the Lovacott centre forward who ran between two defenders and shot into the corner of the net from 15yds. Buckland's keeper, Danny Barnes, kept this team mates in the match during the latter stages with a string of super saves.
