Match Report

A strong Lovacott side could have been 3 or 4 goals up at half time but for the brilliance of Buckland's keeper, Danny Barnes. The keeper pulled out all the stops to superbly block several shots during this opening period and keep his team mates in the match. Buckland themselves had two great opportunities in the opening half, but spurned them both.

The second half was still in the first minute as Lovacott scored from close range. Ten minutes later the score was doubled, and could easily have been increased but for another couple of great saves from Barnes. On 25 minutes a third was added as Buckland lost their way against their opponents neat passing. A consolation goal ten minutes from time by Gary Tanton was the only joy for the luckless home side.
