About us

The Club has been active in its present format since 1976 but did operate originally for a short period during the 1940's and 1950's. Associated to the North Devon Football League the Club has now become well established in the local football scene. For the majority of the time only one team has been in existence. Although from 1996 to 1999 two junior teams were formed to play in the North Devon Scaffolding Invitation League.

The ground was located opposite Burrough Farm, at the top of Orleigh Hill during the early years. In the initial season of the reformed club the pitch was sited in the field behind the Coach & Horses public house which is now the site of the Orleigh Close housing development. The present location at Bowden Cross, known as the "Black Horse Fields" has been the Club's home since 1978.
